Please visit Ashoka Restaurant in Kausani, near to Sumitranandan Pant gallery, to enjoy home made Kumaoni food. We had aloo muli ka thechua, mandua ki roti, kumaoni style nasala khichdi, bhat gravy (bhat is Kumaoni black beans). The weather was cool and the food was served piping hot, with lot of warmth by Amit. Amit's mother was preparing the food inside, for me, she is Annapoorna Devi. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking
