We ordered Diamond fish fry which was full of pure vetki fillet approx 150g fillet. Then Fish momo was very yummy like small ball of fish kabiraji with fish crumbs and vegetables fillings. Then the fish radhavallabh was also tasty but there could have been more fish filling in it, the aloo dum was very tasty that came with it. Overall very impressed with the quality and quantity of foods. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Takeaway Meal type: Other Price per person: ₹200–400

We dropped by Apanjan and went straight for their classics – Fish & Chips and the legendary Fish Kaviraji. And honestly, it lived up to the hype. Fish & Chips: The fillet was perfectly fried – golden, crispy on the outside but soft, flaky, and fresh on the inside. The fries were hot and crunchy, not oily, and paired well with their tangy dip. Easily one of the better Fish & Chips you’ll get in the city. Fish Kaviraji: This was the star of the show. The coating was light, crispy, and airy, with that signature kaviraji crunch that melts into the tender fish inside. Every bite was nostalgic, full of authentic Kolkata street-food charm but served with care. The ambience is simple and no-nonsense, but that’s exactly what makes Apanjan so special – the food does all the talking. Service was quick, staff were polite, and the prices are pretty reasonable for the quality. Verdict: If you’re craving classic Bengali-style fried fish with a modern twist, Apanjan should be on your list. The Fish Kaviraji is a must-try and the Fish & Chips will leave you satisfied.
