I have been to Ammini several times before now. The menu is very limited, but it is really good, and authentic. The entire experience is wonderful. The food is served on a wicker tray lined with banana leaves. A truly unique experience. However, I was disappointed when we went on the 14th of September. My nephew, who lives in the US, wanted to have some cuisine that is not readily available there. That was the reason we chose Ammini. Unfortunately, on that day, quite a few of the items that we ordered, were either unavailable, or they could give just one portion. My brother, sister, and I are pescetarians. On enquiry we were told that none of the fish items were available that day. We have never had this sort of experience there earlier. I think, if one is under the impression that food from South India consists of just Idli, Dada, Dosai and Sambhar, they should definitely visit Ammini. It is going to be an unforgettable experience for them. I have had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant on two separate occasions, and both experiences were delightful. The first time, I visited for lunch with my mother. We shared incredibly soft and fluffy appam, irriappam, and a flavorful chicken curry. The meal was a true taste of authentic Kerala cuisine, and the staff's warm hospitality made the experience even more special. My second visit was for a sadya with a friend, and it exceeded all expectations. The food was absolutely amazing, with each dish bursting with traditional flavors. The entire spread was a feast for the senses, from the crispy banana chips to the rich and creamy payasam. The ambiance of the restaurant was lively and vibrant, creating a festive atmosphere. The staff's attentiveness and cheerful demeanor made us feel welcome and well-cared for. Overall, the exceptional food, fantastic vibe, and outstanding service make this a place I would highly recommend for anyone seeking an authentic and memorable dining experience. Awkward services

I would not even give any star for services, went to the restaurant during an afternoon for lunch, and the providers there behaved in an awkward fashion. Firstly the served us uncleaned spoons, secondly when we requested them to extend a chair where we could keep our belongings, even when the whole place was empty at that time, they simply points out another place to put the stuffs in cold attitude. I would try to avoid this place.
