We had a wonderful dining experience at The Anglo Indian Café in Khandala. The café exudes a calm, contemporary charm with beautifully designed outdoor seating, making it an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy a leisurely meal. The ambience is serene, sunlit, and surrounded by greenery — perfect for a relaxing afternoon. We ordered the Farmhouse Pizza, Aglio Olio Pasta, and Basque Cheesecake, and each dish exceeded expectations. The pizza had a perfectly crisp base with just the right amount of chewiness, topped with fresh vegetables, jalapeños, olives, and a flavorful cheese blend that brought everything together. The Aglio Olio Pasta was simple yet incredibly well-balanced — rich in garlic and olive oil, with a subtle kick of spice and fresh herbs. The accompanying garlic bread was crisp, buttery, and seasoned beautifully. To end the meal, the Basque Cheesecake stood out as the perfect dessert — smooth, creamy, and delicately caramelized on top, served with a scoop of ice cream that complemented it wonderfully. Overall, the combination of excellent food, prompt service, and a relaxing atmosphere made this a memorable experience. We visited this place in July. We expected a lot from the place having visited that place some years back. However, we observed the following and were very disappointed.

1. The Sangria wine portion was less than normally served in other restaurants. The quality of wine was poor and definitely not Sula.

2. There was a stench / smell onto the sides of the restaurants and we had to shift our table.

3. There was a huge cockroach in the Dessert bay.

4. The food was overpriced with high service charge.

Overall, a poor experience which leaves bad taste and reflects poorly on the standards being maintained.

Definitely suggest skipping the place.
