Food and drinks: Group of 7-8 people coming in for Lunch at the revamped restaurant, they don't move tables to join tables, "as per management", Empty restaurant but denied to join tables, As per them there is no concept of it, pathetic service, Pathetic hospitality, One family sitting on different tables

*Current update: 29th Jan 2024... The Dukes Retreat is under renovation and estimated to open only after 2 years...that is by December 2025. However they have a AC fine Dinning restaurant near to the main gate, where you can have your meals.* *********************************** I have frequently visited The Dukes Retreat over the past 25 years and I must say that this property has some kind of charm in it. Fantastic ambience, well located pool, fab restaurant, lovely coffee shop and yes not forgetting the all so evergreen High Point Bar. Rooms are okay and need maintenance. Not only the rooms but also other parts of the hotel needs maintenance. We love chilling out at the bar and mostly have had our drinks, starters and meals there. We once tried In room Dinning but felt it pretty slow and not very responsive. Rest we enjoy the view and ambience and the waterfalls during the monsoons. All in all a well located property on top of the hill and pleasant place to stay. Service: 3
