Once the promenade around the Raj Bhavan is over, visit Alfresco. If you're Indian and Italian cuisine lover, come here. You can always degust good asparagus soup, fried fish and rogan josh at this restaurant. Spend a good time here and share tasty mango dessert, curry dessert and corn cakes with your friends. Don't miss the opportunity to try delicious cordial, wine or beer. Great coconut juice, cold coffee or mango juice are worth a try here.
Choose between indoor and outdoor seating. The high ratings of Alfresco would be impossible without the courteous staff. Terrific service is something that visitors note in their comments. Visited Alfresco by Great Eastern for a Sunday buffet. While the service was polite and the dessert selection was decent, the overall experience did not match expectations for the price point. The dining space felt limited, and the food spread, though acceptable in parts, lacked variety and standout flavours. Beverage options were also quite limited during our visit. Given the cost per person, the experience felt average. There is room for improvement, especially considering the brand and pricing. Amazing food, amazing staff. Amjad and Rik made our day. Amjad being deaf communicated by sign language and facial expressions... suddenly it was as if no language barrier was there between us.
