I visited this restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. The dishes were served cold, and the taste did not match the standards I was hoping for. For the price and reputation, I expected fresh and properly prepared meals, but it felt like little attention was given to quality. The staff was polite, but overall the dining experience was not enjoyable. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the food quality for future guests. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves a warning. This was hands down the worst mandi I’ve ever tried. The rice was dry and bland, lacking any aroma or proper seasoning. The meat (which is supposed to be the star of the dish) was either overcooked to the point of being chewy or underseasoned and greasy. It tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. Even the sides – if any were included – felt like an afterthought. Zero attention to detail, no freshness, and definitely not worth the price. Mandi is meant to be flavorful, tender, and aromatic – this was none of that. Avoid this place if you're looking for an authentic or even decent mandi experience. In olden times, rice was very tasty and flavorful but now the price is increased and it is not worth of money. I've tried their normal, alfaham, bbq, perperi, kondattam and honey chilli. perperi and kondattam are not at all spicey and their alfaham and bbq are average. I don't suggest this restaurant and there are many other good mandi spot there in Kottayam. rice is unlimited here but there mionise is not at all satisfactory. there is complement lemon tea and the size of the chicken is you would get only a chest piece.
