In olden times, rice was very tasty and flavorful but now the price is increased and it is not worth of money. I've tried their normal, alfaham, bbq, perperi, kondattam and honey chilli. perperi and kondattam are not at all spicey and their alfaham and bbq are average. I don't suggest this restaurant and there are many other good mandi spot there in Kottayam. rice is unlimited here but there mionise is not at all satisfactory. there is complement lemon tea and the size of the chicken is you would get only a chest piece.

First, let's talk about Food. We ordered Alfaham Kondattam chicken mandhi and BBQ Alfaham mandhi. Kondattam tasted okay but it's not at all worth 280 rupees for a quarter. Also the chilly chicken like gravy over the Alfaham wasn't really a piece of cake. Too much of the minty taste was there. Then BBQ Alfaham was a flop. It tasted nothing like normal BBQ and the food was not hot either. Then coming to service, it was really not so welcoming. It took them around 10 minutes to come and clean the table, another 5 minutes to take the order even when the place was only moderately crowded. And once they delivered the food, they just vanished. Nobody came to ask whether we wanted anything more. We ran out of the tomato chutney and rice as well, but nobody even cared to ask. All this for 280 rupees per quarter is what makes it a bad choice. The atmosphere was fine. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
