I popped in to 6 Pack Bar & Restaurant on the basis of other customer’s Google reviews. I absolutely wasn’t disappointed. Whilst it was relatively quiet as it was a Sunday night and the season hasn’t really kicked off in Goa just yet, everything about my experience was positive. I opted for the beef chilli (a starter) and 2 chapatis which I thought I’d follow with a main course. I really didn’t need to, the beef chilli was supremely tasty, tender meat with a spicy kick to it snd lots of crunchy vegetables. The chapatis were fresh, fluffy and light. I was more than satisfied and thoughts of a main course were set aside. My meal was complemented with two ice cold Kingfishers (and they really were ice cold) but my inevitable need for “sweet after hot” still soon kicked in. I asked if they served Gulab Jamun (they didn’t) but Kate the owner asked her chef to prepare some fresh pancakes accompanied by banana and Nutella. Job done, thanks to chef Kathy for being flexible to suit my sweet tooth, snd yes - I’ll most definitely be returning. Highly recommended.
