1947 An Indian Restaurant – A Culinary and Cultural Delight We had an outstanding experience at 1947 An Indian Restaurant. The Crazy Broasted Prawns, crafted by Chef Lal, were the star of the show — perfectly crispy and flavourful . Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The service was excellent — attentive, friendly, and professional. The staff made us feel welcome and took the time to walk us through the menu, offering great recommendations based on our preferences. One of the most unique aspects of the restaurant is its Indian independence-themed interior. The decor pays homage to India’s rich history. It adds a cultural dimension to the dining experience. A big thanks the entire team for making our visit so special. Highly recommended! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was average, and the portions were smaller than expected. However, the biggest issue was the slow service - from ordering to receiving our food, and even packing takeaways. Unfortunately, the dishes I ordered didn't meet my expectations in terms of quantity and taste. I hope the restaurant team addresses these concerns to improve the overall experience.
