Another extra star if possible. Highly recommended in every aspect. All the food tasted good. Large guest area, many tables available. Mild spice levels on most dishes, but very tasty. A unique themed restaurant, with collectibles from the independence era show cased well under the glass of every table. Note: Unique fans on stands. Not the usual pedestal fans. Clean wash basin and toilet. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section

1947 an Indian Restaurant has been a great place to dine, keeping up the quality consistent over the years. Their location is bang-on, with a lot of parking spots available for cars and bikes. Service was quick and stewards were able to give some great dish suggestions. The whole theme of the restaurant is based on the Indian Independence struggle and freedom fighters. The ambience and decor matches this theme cent percent. All dishes we ordered were perfectly packed with the right flavours and spices. The breads - Kallappam, Bun Porotta and Nool Porotta were spot on. The Beef Coconut fry was exceptional and matched well with all sides. Would recommend to try the Chemmeen Tawa Piralan, Paalkappa- Beef and Kochulli Chicken Curry.
