I had an amazing experience at Xero Courtyard, Janpath! The ambiance is truly exceptional, offering a perfect blend of modern and cozy vibes. The seating area is beautifully designed, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal with friends or family. The food was outstanding, with a menu that caters to all tastes. I especially loved the kababs, which was packed with flavor and presented beautifully. The service was top-notch as well—the staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. Overall, Xero Courtyard is a must-visit if you're in the Janpath area. I would like to begin my review by highlighting the unacceptable behavior of the front desk executive at this café. I visited this café on Sunday, 29th September & I had made a prior reservation through Zomato. Despite arriving half an hour late for our booking, we expected to be accommodated since we believed we had a grace period of four hours to make the payment, as per Zomato’s terms. Upon arriving, we informed the staff at the ground-floor desk, including the male front desk executive (who seemed to be in charge) and his accompanying staff, about our reservation. They immediately inquired about our booking & without much explanation, rudely told us that we would not be allowed entry into the café. Both the front desk executive and the female staff member next to him were extremely arrogant, uncooperative and dismissive. We explained to them the Zomato policy, which we understood allowed a four-hour window for payment & therefore, we should not be denied entry. Despite our polite explanation, the front desk executive continued to argue in a very disrespectful manner. When the situation escalated and we lost our patience, we asked him to provide a written confirmation of his denial of entry. At this point, his demeanor changed. He then allowed us to enter & told that the payment has to be made in a certain time. The accompanying female staff member also displayed an uncooperative attitude. Although the food was good, the overall experience was tainted by the staff’s behavior. After being allowed to enter, we noticed that the front desk executive came upstairs and began discussing our situation with other staff members in a loud voice, while continuously staring at us. This behavior felt intrusive and made us uncomfortable. In conclusion, the service at this café was appalling & the behavior of the staff, particularly the front desk executive, was completely unprofessional. There was a total lack of basic customer service skills & I would not recommend this place to anyone. If I could, I would have given this cafe a 0 rating. The location of the outlet is good and easily accessible through public transport. And a variety of veg options, tried only starters all of them are really good in taste. Ambience is good and service provided by the staff is also appreciable.
