The behaviour of the staff here is not as expected from the Novotel group. Almost everyone here looks grumpy. They don't come forward to make your visit a delight for you which is exactly the opposite of what you get to see when you visit the other Novotel units like the ones in Hyderabad, Kolkata etc. You need to go out of the way and make multiple requests to get service here. Once you enter this place, none of the staff present will ever greet you but the files present, will however greet you amply. After repeated requests pest control came over to attend to them. The spread here, however, was excellent. You get a complete range of south indian breakfast like simple idli, pudu idli and multi grain idli, range of dosas, puri bhajji, vada, khara bhath, indori poha, jalebi with rabri etc etc. Continental items like baked beans, potato wedges, baked tomatoes, varieties of mueslis etc are also available. So are the Chinese items like noodles etc. You do also get sweet lassi, fresh watermelon and canned mango juices. Then there's a live counter serving your eggs as per order. The thing which we really loved was the bakery items and the condiments. They are simply excellent. In short, if you are able to overlook their shortcomings on service, then you can visit this place once for a good breakfast. But if you want good service also, then avoid it. I had family lunch at The Square today in their Outer ring road Novotel and I found it to be a very scrumptious and wide spread buffet...a very good value for money..and the restaurant ambience and vibe was quite impressive...
