We went for my father in-laws birthday celebration. We placed the order for starters 8.30pm and we were waiting for more than 30ins for the food to be served. Then it started drizzling and then we weer asked to move to tht ground floor restaurant. We waited another 45 mins for the food to be served. Then the starters were served. We also placed order for main course to avoid waiting for long. It took another 30 mins for us to get the food. The ground floor restaurant serves buffet only. In summary, we we punished for choosing sunset grill. Would you like to be punished and pay for the experience, please goto sunset grill.. Thabk you for your attention in this matter. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The name definitely overhypes this place for what it is. Expected a good grill place with very good ambience being the main highlight as it’s poolside, but it’s all wrong. It was very poorly set up. There was no ambience because tables were literally naked, without any cloth on top. It felt like eating in the poolside cafeteria. Water-side restaurants have definitely been better. No decorations at all. Closest Restroom is literally in the spa that is a long walk from here. Extremely inconvenient setup Service was very slow despite the lack of customers. Eventually it began raining, and they had zero protection for that too. No umbrellas or shade so apparently only option is to get soaked (I was having severe cold at the time) Literally had to pack the food and run back to the room. Oh yes and they forgot to pack my main dish cause it got soaked (no protection again) Food itself isn’t so great either. The grill and barbecue concept excited me but it was okay ish. Very limited main course options for both veg and non veg. Please get some sort of rain protection when it’s out in the open. Literally can’t afford to be soaked while eating. And please just buff up the tables, they look genuinely naked without any decorations Price per person: ₹800–1,000 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Sunset grill is located in Westin in Velachery. I would agree that the ambiance is good overlooking the pool (robbing privacy of the people in the pool) But the time we went was horrible due to the humidity and heat!! We were sweating and there were no fans as well. The staff were courteous and polite. Let me be very blunt about the food The menu was below average which completely surprised us. For such a place known for its food, the menu was very underwhelming. Just one option to choose from each variety. The soup was good and the fish kebab was very well cooked. The Briyani was ok but a bit bland There were no dessert options at all.. just two or three to choose from Overall I would say definitely not what I expected after everything I’ve heard about this place!!! And definitely not worth the cost. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹1,000–1,200
