After enjoying Chowrasta, go to this restaurant that is not far away. Try dishes of Chinese and Indian cuisines at Shangri-La Restaurant & Bar. Cooks at this place do their best to provide visitors with tasty chicken soup, momos and spicy chicken. Come here for nicely cooked che if you are hungry. I stayed in Hotel & Restaurant Shangri-La on mall road. The stay in the hotel was comfortable one. Rooms are big with radiators, family friendly and with breakfast options of continental, Alu paratha and Puri sabji. It tasted awesome. The man handling the boarding section - Daniel, is an asset to the property due to his promptness of response regarding anything, he is always there to help you for anything you need. We booked two rooms, 101 & 103 and we are very very satisfied with the service. Location of hotel is the prime advantage of the property. You can enjoy the hustle bustle of mall road till late night.Now comes the restaurant section, some items I liked but not all. I will recommend mixed chowmin, chicken kung pao, hot garlic chicken with rum & coke.Bar section is well handled by Adarsh Rai, loved his sense and reccomendation of drinks. Also they arranged car pickup from Bagdogra Airport, it was a comfortable ride.
