Very nice place. Our server Roshan did an excellent job of serving us. The food was extremely fresh and the ambience of the restaurant was nice. Would definetly recommend this place to people in the area craving good Asian food
Good Place to visit along with family. Service was warm and great. Ambience is cool. Thanks Roshan Gupta for making us comfortable and for such an awesome reception.
What started as an expectation that we would be baking cakes as the invite mentioned turned into a much more rewarding experience with Chef "Ninja" herself taking time out and introducing us to the ingredients of the dishes we were gonna prepare that day. After a brief description of the origin and intended uses as well as how they relate to the ingredients found in India and with a refreshing Mango & mint drink we were off to the kitchen dawning chef's hats and apron and getting to witness and participate in the kitchen action first hand. As we went about preparing dishes imitating chef ninja and with the help of other chef's in the kitchen who imparted some gyaan on how to cook dishes and what to look take care about in preparations of those dishes, like from the use of oil sparingly on the non-stick to how to skewer the chicken satay pieces. all in all it a rewarding experience.to be among the chef's of InAzia Sheraton.
Moving on to the food, it was mostly of the dishes we had prepared but obviously, the one we prepared weren't gonna match up to the ones made by the chef's!
So the salad was Som Tom Salad and Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce and Tom kha hed Soup, the Salad prepared mostly with raw veggies and papaya with a slight crunch added by peanuts made me love the dish even more for the simplicity and rawness, the chicken satay's flavor was amplified with the peanut sauce again brilliantly prepared. and the soup made it into my list of favourites to order apart from the tom yum soup I generally prefer ar Chinese or Thai places, even though the base is coconut milk the sweetness was quite well balanced, I doubt other places will have same delicious preparation for this soup.
Thai Green Curry paired with Jasmine Rice was the one we started main course with and was impressive the way the jasmine flavor complimented the Green curry and made me go for a second helping, as for the Shezwan Noodles with Fish in Hot and sour sauce the noodles were okay but the fish was quite good and juicy.
The desserts included Caramel cake and the for the veggie people (eggless is a condition right) they were served a helping of vanilla ice cream and fresh fruits with dragon fruit among them.
A big thank you to zomato for the invite and to the staff of to Sheraton for the hospitality, oh By the way, InAzia and Chime are now something like conjoined twins with a common entrance from the chime into InAzia both of which were on the 10th Floor this also gives you an opportunity to take in the view from up top. Also, if you are looking to spice up your Friday's #TGIF then Ami Shroff flies down here to Chime every Friday and based on the accounts of foodies who went to one of the meetup's with her, you will not be disappointed.
PS: A Big Shout out and thank you to Aparna for the pics that you see above, taken thorugh her 1200D Canon DSLR. Her Zomato Profile.
Disclaimer: Invited for the Zomato party to experience the behind the scenes working in Sheraton's inAzia kitchen, as well as a sampling of the menu.
