The iDa is literally like the clichéd hidden gem. At the end of a cul-de-sac off Balaknath Road in Upper Tapovan, Rishikesh, there's no signage at all leading to it. Yet, the café has a pleasant garden, comfy floor seating on floor cushions, and most importantly of all, realistic prices. None of the extortionate prices for indifferent food in most cafés in Rishikesh Tapovan. There's no art though, other than an impressive wall painting of Shiva. The masala chai was awesome and the poha was just right, though minus the slice of lemon. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Brunch Price per person: ₹200–400 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection Parking space: Difficult to find parking Kid-friendliness: Family-friendly place.
