I recently placed an order from Fakebook Cafe through Swiggy, which included 2 Special Spicy Shikanji. However, I only received 1. Upon contacting the restaurant directly, they admitted that they intentionally sent only one item, claiming it was due to Swiggy allegedly making a partial payment for the order. This is completely unacceptable. As a customer, I paid the full amount to Swiggy expecting to receive everything I ordered. I should not be caught in the middle of a dispute between Swiggy and the restaurant. Whether it’s a payment issue or a communication lapse between the two parties, I have upheld my end by placing and paying for my full order. This experience reflects a clear case of mis-sale and service failure by both Fakebook Cafe and Swiggy. I expect a full explanation and appropriate resolution — either a refund for the missing item or a re-delivery at the earliest.
