Been visiting this place since 2008. Same taste, waiters and ambience. Not sure if other cuisine folks will enjoy but namma folks will enjoy the taste! Cheap as well. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹800–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Biryani

Amala Chettinad Mess is not at all suited for other than Tamil speaking people. We visited the Mess with great expectations by checking the false reviews in Google. Food is tasteless. Service is worst. Servers speak only Tamil. We have repeatedly asked about the items with Non Veg Meals. They served only 2 tasteless veg curries. We expected at least one non veg curry but they didn't give any non veg curry. If we go to any veg hotel, they will serve Dal, rasam, sambar, papad, two normal curries, two fry curries, curd, sweet etc with the rate what this Amala Mess charged for us. Very much disappointed with this Mess. It is suitable for local people only. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
