I had been hearing lovely things about this restaurant for a very long time, and finally visited yesterday. The ambience was quite crammed with very little privacy if you are in a smaller group. I took my friend out for a date, and we were a little taken aback by the interiors of the restaurant, didn’t feel warm and cosy, as one may expect a Japanese place to be. We were excited for the food but it turned out to be pretty average, the togarashi fries were good, mushrooms gyozas were bitter in taste and ramen was really disappointing! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹1,400–1,600 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure

Went with very high expectations about the place wanting to find the best ramen place in Delhi but it didn't match up to expectations... Tried the pot stickers (chicken and mushroom), yakitori chicken and pork tonkatsu ramen ... Along with ginger drink and buransh drink .... The best dish was the yakitori must have and next was chicken pot sticker ... Mushroom one is very overhyped... I recently went to Zuru Zuru for a celebratory dinner and had such a great time. It reminds me of the OG Japanese restaurants we have seen on tele that have this grounding, homely, simple vibe. Nothing seems extra. Rather just perfect for where it’s placed. We decided to take the seating overlooking the street which adds another nuance to the already nice ambience. I am a vegetarian by choice and had such a blast trying the Shroom Tempura, the kimchi, the fries, and the Veg Soupless Tantanmen - what a banger! My partner tried the Tonkotsu Ramen and the Curry a la Kiev - Chicken and loved both. I also tried the Pineapple Pop which was nice and refreshing but my bias for Kombucha had me trying the Apple Cinnamon Kombucha and the Salad Bar Kombucha on the menu. Do try the cloud pudding for a yummy and light dessert to end your meal. To add, the service was great! Staff was so nice to talk to and seemed happy doing their job. All in all, the experience was a 10. And I already have plans to visit again soon. Thanks to the Zuru Zuru team for such a good time filled with wholesome food!
