Ordered the Chicken Jafrani Biryani. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the overall quality of the meal. The primary issue was with the chicken itself. It was undercooked, which made it difficult to enjoy. Furthermore, the rice, which is the heart of any biryani, was bland and lacked the aromatic spices and flavor I would expect from a dish called "Jafrani Biryani." It was only after I added a significant amount of the accompanying salan (gravy) that the dish had any taste at all. Another point of concern was the packaging. The salan was provided in a small plastic bag that was tied so tightly it took a considerable amount of time and effort to open, which was frustrating. While I appreciate the effort, there is definitely significant room for improvement in both the cooking process and the packaging. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and helps Zayka Restaurant n Caters improve their offerings in the future.
