We ate here several times while staying nearby for a few nights. The food is great and really affordable. Idris is a gracious host who shared local information (where to rent a scooter and what to explore). Highly recommend! Thank you! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Though we have visited this area twice a year since 2018, we have not been able to make it after the pandemic. But now we are hopefully here to stay, one of our first eat-outs was to Zalor Foodpoint. Since we are small eaters, being elderly, Idris very kindly tailored our lunch: fluffy rice, honest chapatis just like mom used to make, a delicate meat curry with soft pieces of meat. And a bowl of a beans sabzi - everything was gentle, flavoursome and wholesome. The helping - one meal that we shared - was way above what we normally consume and we went home, replete and content. As we ate, Idris kept us company, telling us about this and that, showing us where he grinds his wheat to make flour and about the challenges and joys of running the establishment. We also got to meet his daughter - a bright and courteous kid. Looking forward to many more visits and many thanks to Idris and his team. And now we've also enjoyed a fine breakfast at the Foodpoint - crisp dosas and a healthy glass of pineapple juice loaded with bromelain. After which I looked up Idris and find that the name suits the gentleman so well: philosopher and mystic! Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The best thing in Fatrade is not the beach, or anything else, but this exquisite yet simple food joint. The vegetarian food will remind you of your mother, and home. The nonveg is delicately delicious, with natural flavours, without unnecessary masala. The meat and fish is fresh from the market. Everything is resonably priced. The place is a revelation. Hope it grows in time, and free-delivery service starts soon.
