The Zaitoon Special BBQ (4 Legs) was excellent—a perfect blend of sweet and spicy flavors that really stood out. However, the Kozi Dejoj and Kozi Laham were just average. The rice lacked flavor, which made the overall dish a bit underwhelming. The Chicken Noodles were quite plain, with an average taste and nothing particularly memorable. In terms of ambience, this outlet felt quite congested compared to other Zaitoon branches, which affected the overall dining experience. Overall: Great BBQ, but the rest of the dishes and the dining space could use some improvement. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

I recently visited Zaitoon in Anna Nagar and had a really good dining experience. We started off with a few varieties of soups, which were pretty good. For starters, we tried the Alfaham Chicken and the Zaitoon Special BBQ Platter — both were super tasty. For the main course, we ordered the BBQ Chicken Biryani and Chicken Kizhi Parotta. The biryani was nice and flavorful, but the Kizhi Parotta was a bit disappointing — it had a sour taste. The ambience and service were great. They're open till 2 AM, but late at night they have limited options — no desserts or juices, only soft drinks. We recently dined at Zaitoon Restaurant, Anna Nagar, as a group of office colleagues. The ambience was great, providing a pleasant and comfortable dining experience. The service was excellent, with staff being attentive and courteous throughout our meal. However, when it comes to the food quality and taste, there is a lot of room for improvement. We tried a variety of dishes, including egg fried rice, BBQ chicken, mutton rogan josh, kadai chicken, fish fingers, tawa fish, and chicken dung biryani. Unfortunately, most of the dishes lacked the expected depth of flavor and seasoning. The flavors were quite mild and not as rich or authentic as they should be, especially considering the restaurant's reputation. Having dined at the Nungambakkam branch, we found the food there to be significantly better in terms of taste and authenticity. We hope the Anna Nagar branch improves its food quality to match the standards expected from Zaitoon. With better flavors and seasoning, this place has the potential to offer a truly great dining experience. Would love to visit again if the taste improves! Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
