We recently dined at Zaitoon Restaurant, Anna Nagar, as a group of office colleagues. The ambience was great, providing a pleasant and comfortable dining experience. The service was excellent, with staff being attentive and courteous throughout our meal. However, when it comes to the food quality and taste, there is a lot of room for improvement. We tried a variety of dishes, including egg fried rice, BBQ chicken, mutton rogan josh, kadai chicken, fish fingers, tawa fish, and chicken dung biryani. Unfortunately, most of the dishes lacked the expected depth of flavor and seasoning. The flavors were quite mild and not as rich or authentic as they should be, especially considering the restaurant's reputation. Having dined at the Nungambakkam branch, we found the food there to be significantly better in terms of taste and authenticity. We hope the Anna Nagar branch improves its food quality to match the standards expected from Zaitoon. With better flavors and seasoning, this place has the potential to offer a truly great dining experience. Would love to visit again if the taste improves! Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
