This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with Zahra Restaurant, and it’s not just a one-off occurrence. Every time I’ve ordered from them, they’ve managed to disappoint in one way or another. This time, I ordered biryani late in the evening, but when I say “late night,” I mean around 10 PM—not some ridiculously late hour like 1 AM or 2 AM, as people might expect when ordering food at odd times. When the food arrived, I was shocked to find that the rice was burned. On top of that, the portion of biryani I received had just one small piece of chicken with a single bone in it. It’s clear that they did not put much thought or care into preparing the dish. I had also asked for cutlery to be included with the order, as is standard, but they ignored this basic customer request completely. It’s frustrating when a restaurant doesn’t pay attention to the details or make an effort to meet customer expectations. At the very least, I expected them to serve properly cooked rice and a decent portion of food, not burned rice, overcooked chicken, and a single bone. Offering a half-portion should still mean giving enough quality and care in the food. This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I’ve had with Zahra, and based on this repeated pattern of poor service, I strongly urge others to avoid ordering from them online.
