The space effortlessly marries heritage with modern aesthetics—comfortable, elegant, and just the right setting for a relaxed meal. The soothing live music, with its nostalgic retro tunes, created the perfect backdrop, enhancing the dining experience and taking me on a delightful trip down memory lane.A Feast Full of Stories on My PlateThe menu at Zaffran promises indulgence, and it delivers. Specializing in North Indian, Mughlai, and Biryani, each dish felt thoughtfully crafted, with deep respect for tradition but with a modern flair. I was especially excited about trying both their signature non-vegetarian options and some of the much-raved-about vegetarian dishes. Here’s a rundown of what I indulged in:- Teen Patta Chaat: A refreshing, crispy appetizer with spinach, kale, and pan leaves fried to perfection, drizzled with sweet saffron-curd. The flavor profile was unique and hit all the right notes—a great blend of crunch, sweetness, and spice. - Chelo Kebab: The melt-in-your-mouth minced mutton seekh kebabs, coated in parsley and grilled, were sublime. These were hearty yet light and paired perfectly with the subtle herbaceous notes.- Amritsari Fish: A classic, done right!
