You Mee is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. You will appreciate low prices. There is cozy ambiance at this place. I love the restaurant and the food but today my order was received all spilled and a tempura roll was received broken. Not sure if the delivery guy dropped the order on the way or if it was packed wrong

This was my first and last visit at You mee.Let’s talk about the food:1. Veg dumpling soup was average 2.5/52. Honey chilli potato were pretty good, 4/53. Pickled Mushroom bao were star of the show, 5/5Now the main thing. Service:The reason I won’t visit again is because of the service. I was in a hurry so didn’t check the bill, my mom later told there is a ‘Staff Contribution’ charge, whatever nonsense that is. I later asked the staff and the manager, he told us because there is cost to run the restaurant like AC and to pay the servers they add this charge. But why? Don’t you pay your servers salary? Why should I be paying that charge. I will tip if I feel the service was great or something, which it wasn’t by the way. Nobody came to ask us how the food was, nobody offered to serve, didn’t refill the water, just gave us two tissues, I had to ask for extra sauces on the table. I should pay extra charges for this? Ridiculous Although the manager was very calm and professional, and refunded the amount but even best restaurants don’t charge any additional charges except GST. I don’t even know how is it allowed.This outing literally ruined our day. I don’t know why has Zomato attached itself to such places. What’s the point of offering 25% discount and charging 10% service charge?
