Hi Friends, we have dined 3 times at Yamuna bar and restaurant during our 3 days Goa trip, the taste of food is average and their service quality were very poor. Dileep(Partner) and Sunil(Owner) have spoke very nicely with us during our first interaction, so we have continued food for two more days though the food was tasting average. These two members are A+ grade cheaters, we went to Goa during the denomination exchange period(November 2016) and as it was Sunday all nearby ATM's were out of cash and we didnt had money, so we requested them that we would transfer Rs. 2000 thru net banking and asked to give that cash in hand for booking a taxi to airport next day. Dileep Mehta promised us that he would help us besides saying that his owner is a money minded guy. After we transferred the Rs.2000 into their account thru net banking, Dileep Mehta has given 1500 cash in exchange for our Rs.2000 and said that his owner wished to give only Rs.1500/- for this exchange transaction and said that he wouldnt transfer the amount back if we dont want to exchange. We were not happy with the way they have cheated on us and exchanged few words. The very next day as we had a flight at 4.35PM to Bangalore, we went to the restaurant at 1.30PM and ordered food parcels for us, they have taken the order by 1.35PM and keeping the previous day's conversation in mind they have continuously kept us on hold sensing our urgency to catch the flight and kept on serving their customers in house with the same orders which we have asked for rather than packing them for us. Finally they delivered our food parcels at 3.10 PM after continuous follow-up. Due to which we have missed our flight at Goa. So guys be careful before you go to this restaurant. I strongly recommend not to go.
It goes by the name Yamuna bar and is a plc frequented by men. I hv tried his tandoori, fish dishes Nd bagdadi chicken and the taste of food is delicious. Don't expect an ambience as it is a bar setup but a true value for money plc... Gr8 food nd easy on d pocket... :p
Yamuna is a bar frequented by men, but they have a family room too. The ambience is okayish but it's the food that counts here. They serve really succulent tandoori rotis. The kadai paneer and mix veg is really good. And so is the fried rice, manchow soup and masala omelette.
The bar has a new management now and is called awadh-e-Yamuna. The decor is much much better and the food as well
