This was honestly one of the worst café experiences. The table was dirty when we sat down, and despite ringing the bell many times, not a single staff member came to attend to us. For first-time visitors, there was absolutely no guidance we waited for half an hour only to later find out that we had to order by checking the menu on the board and writing it on a piece of paper. Nobody bothered to inform us. Very bad customer service! The food was also a huge disappointment. The doh tyrkhong (smoked meat) was so hard and chewy it felt like eating a stone. The vegetables were extremely basic just some raw leaves and simple greens passed off. Definitely not worth the price. Who serves such a basic salad with this kind of meal? The main problem with this café is the owner himself. He is very rude and not kind at all. Instead of taking responsibility and making sure customers are treated well, he blindly trusts his careless staff who do nothing to help. That’s why the service is terrible, the place feels neglected, and the whole experience has gone downhill. The owner should treat customers with kindness and respect because without customers, he is nothing. Right now, his arrogance and attitude are the biggest reasons this café is losing its charm Overall: dirty tables, poor service, no communication, overpriced food, and bad quality. If the owner wants the café to be as good as it once was, he should not just blindly trust the staff and ve rude to customers, because clearly the staff they are careless and ruining the place. Very Disappointing and Overhyped We visited You and I Arts Cafe in Sept 2025 after seeing good reviews. It was a big disappointment. We tried Red Potatoes with Herbs, Passion Fruit Ice Cream, and Coconut Ice Cream. Everything was bad. The potatoes look nice in pictures but taste very bland. The ice creams were some of the worst we have had in India. I don’t understand how coconut ice cream can taste this bad. We had to order from another restaurant on Swiggy to finish our dinner. There is almost nothing for vegetarians. The cafe looks nice, but the food is very bad. If you want good food, avoid this place. The staff are polite and the place is clean, but that does not help the food.
