A classic building, probably built quite long ago during the English / Dutch etc. Those who love the ambience of being in such a construction might like this place. The Bar is non A/c and no table service. The guy at the counter didn't seem to be much good with hospitality. Now a days they don't even cook food there. Only just limited variants of Beer & Wine. Wash area and & toilets are not maintained well. If you are visiting during evening hours, it is better you carry a mosquito repellent cream.

On the right day, you can find a spot to quietly enjoy a cricket match, sipping on your drink, and soaking in the ambiance. One of the highlights of XL Hotel Bar is its clientele – predominantly locals who bring with them stories, laughter, and warmth. It’s the kind of place where new friendships can be forged over shared tales and drinks. That said, if you're seeking a venue with an expansive menu or more upscale amenities, this might not be the first pick.
