A Mixed Bag at Adayar Writers Cafe Caught up with a school friend at Adayar Writers Cafe last evening. The ambiance was simple yet elegant, and the food was outstanding! *Food Highlights:* - Mac 'n Cheese: Fantastic! - Mexican Rice Bowl: Superb! - Madras Coffee: Excellent! - Signature Hot Chocolate: A must-try! *Pricing:* - Total bill: ₹830 - Quiet pricey, but the food quality made up for it. *The Not-So-Good:* - The AC was not working, making the dining experience uncomfortable and sweaty. *Verdict:* While the food was exceptional, the dining experience fell short due to the AC issue. I'm regular customer at Writer's Cafe at VR Mall during my stay at Anna Nagar. When I moved to OMR, I found out the near by one here. This cafe it's having good purpose to help others in need, so we pay the cost for a good purpose. I the Butter Croissant, Mango Ice cream, Fish Fingers, Onion ring peri-peri sauce, not to forget their Olive Focaccia. The staff so friendly, only the food coming a bit late, hopefully next time foods will come a bit quick. They also have bigger room for big group at the back side. For sure this is one of the best cafe in Chennai . Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section, Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes
