I honestly think this is one of the worst places to get Korean food. When we first heard it was a kimbap focused cafe, we thought it would be worth a try. The parking is horrendous, and the 90 degree staircase is just unnecessary but fine. Once inside, yes, the ambience is cute and cozy. But let’s talk about the actual food. This feels like a cafe started purely because Korean food is trending, not because they understand or respect the cuisine. • Cheesecake: What they served was literally burnt. You could see the new batch on display, but they kept serving us the burnt ones probably trying to finish the old stock. Quantity was ridiculously small for the price. As a culinary graduate, I can confidently say you can get better taste, size, and price elsewhere. • Corn Dog: Utterly disappointing. Flat, oddly shaped, bland batter, poor texture,looked like something my niece could make at home. Zero flavor in the coating, just ketchup/mayo slapped on top. And again, so overpriced for that sad portion. • Bibimbap: An insult to the dish. Throwing together carrot, cucumber, sausage, egg, and gochujang does not make a bibimbap. Where are the spinach, sprouts, and proper seasoned veggies? The radish and carrot as u can see was thickly cut, rice was not the right type big, hard grains you had to chew through instead of the soft, sticky rice that’s standard for Korean bowls. And portion? Didn’t even fill half the bowl. • Kimbap: was decent. Ramyeon might be decent too, since it’s just packaged food anyway. Overall, the ambience is nice and the staff are polite, but the food? Absolutely not worth the price. It doesn’t taste like actual Korean food.it tastes like someone’s idea of Korean food after watching a few reels and YouTube videos on korean food. Go once for photos if you must, but don’t go expecting real Korean flavors or filling portions. Please open a cafe because you want to serve genuinely good food not just because it’s trending. Korean food is everywhere now, so what will make yours stand out is actual quality, decent quantity, and prices people especially students can come back for. The only way you’ll really know you’ve reached is if you spot the Body Shop store below it. It’s just above that, opposite the Secretariat. Wheelchair accessibility: Hell no. That 90 degree dreamlike staircase? Absolutely not wheelchair accessible. It’s a nightmare, not a ramp.
