The standard of "Wow! Momo" outlets is deteriorating day by day. Today, I visited the outlet at Madhyamgram Chowmatha and ordered a bowl of Chicken Thukpa for around ₹269. What they served was a bowl of hot soup that tasted extremely bad, with barely a few pieces of chicken and noodles. Since the food was served in a disposable bowl, I asked them to provide an extra empty bowl so that I could share the food with my friend who was with me. They insisted that I place a second order for a whole bowl of Thukpa if I wanted an extra bowl. I explained that I didn’t want to order more and even offered to pay a small amount, like ₹20 or ₹30, for the disposable bowl. However, they refused and kept repeating that they wouldn’t provide an extra bowl unless I placed another order. When I asked them to show me if there was any rule or policy regarding this, they denied my request and instead asked me to contact customer support, claiming they couldn’t do anything about it. It was a very bad experience overall, both in terms of service and food quality. Not only was the food disappointing, but their refusal to provide a simple empty bowl was also frustrating.
