Affordable and Convenient Stay in Hampi I stayed here during my recent trip to Hampi and found it to be a decent and budget-friendly option. The rooms were okay—nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable enough, especially considering the price (just around ₹1000 per night). The location is a bit off the main road, about 4–5 km inside, and there’s no direct bus service on that route. So I’d recommend renting a scooter beforehand, ideally from Sanapur, which makes getting around much easier. Since Hampi is a place meant to be explored outdoors all day, you won’t be spending much time in the room anyway. For that purpose, this place does the job well without burning a hole in your pocket. Also, don’t miss their food! The menu had some delicious options—especially the lemon garlic chicken. It was a highlight of our stay and an absolute must-try!

We visited the sacred Anjanadri Temple and chose to stay at Whispering Rocks Jungle Resort—it was the perfect decision. The resort is calm, peaceful, and truly one of the nicest places in all of North Karnataka. The food was very good—fresh and flavorful. Special appreciation to Abhishek for his excellent service and warm hospitality. Overall, a memorable and relaxing experience. Must visit this resort if you're in the area!

We came to Whispering Rocks for lunch on a rainy July afternoon. The drive to the restaurant is absolutely stunning if you take the reservoir road. Layout: They have floor seating with bolster pillows that are super comfortable and you can spend hours here over a slow meal. The ambiance is welcoming with greenery all around. Food: We had Chicken 65 and Prawns Chilly Garlic. The portions were generous. Reasonably priced too. It was enough for the two of us. Will recommend. #spitisojourn
