I used to love What’s in a Name. It had such a great vibe—good crowd, amazing rock and classic rock music, and a place that felt like home for music lovers. Sadly, that’s no longer the case. For starters, they’ve completely changed the music. The rock classics that made the place special? Gone. Now, it’s just generic, forgettable tracks that kill the atmosphere. It’s like they’ve lost their identity and become just another run-of-the-mill bar. If you loved the old playlist, don’t expect to enjoy what they’re playing now. Then there’s the food—absolutely terrible these days. It used to be decent, but lately, it’s bland, overpriced, and just not worth it. Even the drinks seem watered down or just not as good as they used to be. For the price they charge, you’d expect at least something enjoyable, but that’s clearly not a priority for them anymore. But the worst part? The staff. It genuinely feels like they don’t want to be there, and they definitely don’t want you there either. They ignore customers, act disinterested, and take forever to bring anything. You could be sitting there for ages before someone even acknowledges you. Asking for service feels like an inconvenience to them, which is just ridiculous. It’s really disappointing to see a place that once had such a strong character and following turn into just another forgettable spot. What’s in a name? Apparently, not much—because this place has lost everything that once made it special. Not coming back.
