Been frequenting this cafe for a while now. Certainly a calm place in the midst of the otherwise bustling panampilly nagar. Their menu offers a wide range from English to Italian food. Certainly worth the price you pay. They have kid friendly options as well on their menu and a special mention of their hot chocolate. Their service is also noteworthy-polite, quick and friendly. During my recent visit to Qissa Cafe X Westleys in Panampilly Nagar, I held high expectations, given its trendy reputation. However, I left feeling underwhelmed and disappointed with both the culinary offerings and the service. The cold coffee was a letdown. Advertised as a refreshing latte, it felt more like a basic iced coffee. The expected rich, creamy texture was absent, and the flavor was lacking the robust coffee notes one would desire. The Banoffee Pie was another area where the cafe didn't hit the mark. Banoffee Pie is a dessert where flavors blend harmoniously—sweet bananas, rich caramel, and smooth cream—balanced delicately on a buttery biscuit base. Unfortunately, this dish was heavy on banana, overpowering the other elements. The caramel and cream were barely noticeable, which detracted from what should have been a dessert indulgence. The beef stroganoff also failed to impress. Traditionally, this dish is known for its tender beef slices cooked in a creamy, savory sauce with mushrooms and onions. However, I found the beef tough and undercooked, and the anticipated creamy sauce was practically non-existent. The overall composition felt lacking, both in texture and taste. The service experience contributed significantly to my dissatisfaction. Staff members seemed unengaged and inattentive. I encountered difficulty in communicating simple requests, such as lowering the volume of the background music, which was too loud and disruptive. Essential items like tissues were not promptly provided despite reminders. Furthermore, their demeanor lacked friendliness, making it difficult to feel welcomed or cared for during the meal. The process of settling the bill was cumbersome, with staff showing little urgency or courtesy. Given how critical customer service is in enhancing dining experiences, this aspect was notably lacking. Enhancements in the quality and execution of dishes, combined with training staff to be more attentive and interactive, could elevate the dining experience substantially. Currently, the cafe underdelivers on its promise, left me wondering where things went wrong in what could have been an enjoyable outing. Hi, Sheen, Thank you for sharing your feedback .. We are so sorry. We're normally known for our exceptional attention to detail, and we regret that we missed the mark. We always aim to deliver a great experience, and we are gutted when we don't meet expectations. Thanks for taking the time to bring this to our attention. We will use feedback to make us better and to ensure this doesn't happen again.. And for your information the Cold Coffee we serve is Italian coffee , where the espresso is made from Moka Pot, with chilled milk & ice cubes.. And we use tenderloin beef for the stroganoff.. Thank you for posting a review and we're sorry to hear that your experience was not up to standards.. We would like to talk the opportunity to talk and investigate your feedback further.. Thank you
