I recently visited Wah Janaab with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience turned out to be extremely disappointing. We ordered a variety of dishes — Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Malai Kabab, Mutton Burra Kabab, Beef Biryani, Chicken Biryani, Ghol, and some cold drinks. While we were hoping for a flavorful Mughlai meal, what followed was a series of letdowns. Service & Ambiance: The service was painfully slow, and shockingly, only one of the staff members was seen wearing a proper uniform. The overall staff behavior was rude and inattentive. The ambiance deserves a special mention — in the worst way possible. The atmosphere was chaotic, and to top it all off, the person at the cash counter kept yelling at the staff throughout, making the dining experience highly uncomfortable. If I had to rate the ambiance, it would be in the negatives. Food: The Chicken Tandoori and Malai Kabab were mediocre at best. The Mutton Burra Kabab was the worst offender — served completely raw. When we requested a replacement, the same piece came back over-charred and still inedible. Both Biryani dishes were bland and lacking in flavor. The potato in the biryani was uncooked, the beef pieces were tiny and served cold. Even the cold drinks were warm — a basic expectation that wasn’t met. Final Verdict: Wah Janaab was a huge letdown on all fronts — food, service, and environment. Sadly, there was nothing redeeming about the experience. Based on my visit, I would give it a 1 out of 5 — and that’s only because zero isn’t an option. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹2,000+ Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
