I recently ordered the Kadai Paneer and Mix Veg from waff and shak while traveling on a train, and unfortunately, the experience was terrible. Both dishes tasted very bad – the Kadai Paneer was flavorless and overly greasy, while the Mix Veg was poorly cooked and tasted strange. After eating, I immediately felt nauseous, and it almost made me want to vomit. The food quality was far below expectations, especially given that I was hoping for a decent meal during my journey. I would not recommend ordering from this restaurant, especially for train travel, as the food really ruined my experience. They didn’t provide any container though. Food: 1
If you’ve ever wanted to eat waffles and kadhai chicken in the same meal, Waff & Shak is your dream come true! Their Nutella waffles are crispy, fluffy, and basically dessert heaven, while the Oreo shake is so thick, it’s practically a workout to drink (totally worth it though). Surprisingly, the Chinese and Indian dishes are just as amazing. The butter chicken is rich, the naan is buttery, the Hakka noodles are perfectly spicy, the coffee is strong and you’ll somehow leave full and craving more. The staff? Nicest people ever. Bottom line: If you want to eat waffles, sip a shake, and still get your paneer fix – this is the place. Wear stretchy pants.
