During my one month long stay in Vashi, I've visited this place almost everyday and only one word come to my mind whenever I talk about Visawa is 'Brilliant'. During that stay it didn't allow me to miss my home food. Although it seves only veg & being i Bengali i'm used to have Non-veg a lot but the awesome taste of food make me forgot that. You can have a vast variety of food here & most of them are good (expect the chinese menu). the food is freshly cooked & tastes great. If you are craving for something spicy indulge in the North Indian menu. for a easy going meal order the thali or special thali. the rating is totaly for the food. Ambience is not so good. Be ready to have a complete strainger to accompany you across the table. Prices are ok. So if you want to have a quick & wholesome meal at low budget it's a great choice.

Located in one of the bylanes off the busy Palm Beach Road, this simple eatery serves great vegetarian food and is popular in the locality, going by the crowds during lunch time. Though this restaurant is at Navi Mumbai, which has less constraints of space as compared to Mumbai, the restaurant is cramped for space and is a good study in space utilisation! They have focussed on the maximum seating in the limited space available and quickly serving orders to ensure that most cusotmers are catered to!I have mostly tried their thali meals, the regular option and the special meal, both of which are good. The spice used is minimum and reasonable and the food is also not very oily which means they most likely cook fresh and not heat and serve pre cooked food. They use ingredients like masoor dal and tendli which most restaurants tend to avoid on their menu. Service is quick and efficient. The menu is very long and the north Indian food seems over priced. However the snacks and thalis are reasonably priced. Go there for a quick meal that is nutritious and light on the pocket!!!
