Tasty chicken curry can make a favorable impression on you. It is remarkable that the service is noted as fast. But on Facebook, this restaurant hasn't achieved a high rating.
I went in on 10/5/24 at around 78:30 pm to try non veg tiffins. We ordered poori with keema and dosa with kodikura. The only fresh things given were dosa and poori the curries were spoilt the chicken curry seems to be at least day old with funky smell. Keema was not bad but taste isn’t that good. But selling spoilt curries is not alright. Hope management takes a look into this
I heard a lot about this place and decided to go riding with the biker gang. We were there at 7:40 am and the parking was very good . Chintamani tiffins is a take away but gardenia cafe serves the menu by bring it from Chintamani tiffins.
The place is neat and clean. Following are the observations
The service is very slow.
Every item ordered a person runs across to Chintamani tiffins and gets the food on a tray covered with news paper
The dosa was cold the poori was cold no chutney or sambar was served along with it. The waiters excuse was as we had ordered chicken and kheema he felt we need not be served Chutney and sambar
The food was tasty but for that price I think the quantity was very less
Will need to think twice before I go again
After hearing a lot of mixed reviews, I tried this place myself today.
I ordered puri with kodi kura.
First things first, the taste was great. The curry had the right amount of flavours and masala and is delicious. Puri was very oily for my liking.
Next comes the quantity. They charge 170 bucks incl gst for puri and kodi kura and for some other items such as keema puri they charge 220 bucks which is almost 100 bucks more than compared to paradise and alpha.
If I compare the price to quantity ratio, the food is not worthy. The curry portion is really less and is not at all sufficient for the puri served.
Also I found the owner not very welcoming, he wasn't really responding to the order even after repeating after 2-3 times. The service is slow.
I'd suggest this place only if you are from Kompally and are craving for kheema or chicken curry for breakfast!
