During our recent trip to Puducherry we went to a number of restaurants as exploring food in Pondicherry was one of the main charm in the city. Villa Shanti was one of the best dining experiences in terms of fambience, food and service. The heritage building with table in the courtyard gave a good European vibe. The aesthetics were to the point with the table nicely laid out. The food we ordered was mango and papaya salad, zucchini croquete, Pesta and cashew pasta, gnocchi along with peach blossom mocktail. Every dish was to the point and our favourite were zucchini croquettes and Pesto Pasta.

The food, the service and everything was absolutely top notch. I’d highly recommend a dinner here, it’ll become an instant memory. When you do, make sure you meet Ram and get his help on your evening. He also took the effort to take 32547 wonderful photos of me and my partner! Also make sure you get the Stalin special drink - Gin drinkers, look no further. The man can mix a drink like he’s got a gift for it. Overall the staff were incredible, the ambience was great and the food was delicious - the chef even came out to check whether we enjoyed our meal! Highly recommend!!!
