Nice and happening place. the shop has developed over decades from a small push cart. quality of dabeli with variety is worth enjoying. the rates are very reasonable. though there is issue related to parking. however worth visiting. I recently visited Viju's Dabeli, expecting a decent snack experience, but unfortunately, it fell short in several key areas. Food & Pricing: The biggest letdown was the pricing. The food was significantly overpriced for what was offered. You can easily find the same dabeli and snacks elsewhere for half the cost, without compromising on taste or quality. There was nothing particularly special or premium about their food to justify the high prices. It felt more like paying for the name than the actual value. Billing Issues: Another frustrating aspect was the inconsistent pricing. The amount charged did not match the prices listed on the menu. When asked, the staff didn’t offer a clear explanation and simply quoted a higher price. This lack of transparency and straightforward overcharging really affected the overall experience and trust in the establishment. Overall: While the staff was courteous, the pricing issues and lack of honesty with the bill made this visit disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend Viju’s Dabeli unless they revise their pricing to be more reasonable and ensure that they charge customers correctly as per their own menu. There are plenty of better and more honest options out there for the same snacks at a much fairer price. Viju Dabeli has the reputation of serving authentic Dabeli on College road and honestly we now understand why. Vijus Dabeli was the first to introduce this wonderful dish to Nashik in 1994 and since then has become a landmark spots serving street food for students on College Road. This street reminded me of various Khau Galis of Mumbai where you would have people known for their specialities. They started as street food vendor but now have a indoor seating area for people who would like to unwind with their other specialities like sandwiches and pulao. However, we decided to adventure this street food style and enjoyed the making of this wonderful looking dish. We found them quite reasonable and considering their legacy we feel this is one of those spots you should definitely try for the sake of their authenticity.
