Very nice food, tastes like homemade, good quality. Staff is really nice and overall, loved it ! The Punjabi Dhaba, one of several in MacLeodganj is a pure vegetarian, dhaba-style eatery. Curries and lentils are served in tiny buckets, the kitchen is open to view, and dishes offer good value, especially if you're hungry. There's a table outside that seats four, great for sunny days and people-watching. Inside, there's seating for 20 in slightly cramped quarters. It was lunch time, so I ordered my North Indian favourites - rajmah masala and roti. Luckily, the rajmah wasn't overspicy. The serving could've sufficed for two, though I was a solo diner. A vote in its favour is that the locals and neighbouring shopkeepers patronise it too. You might not want to linger after a meal though, despite its prime location close to the Dalai Lama's Temple. Parking space: Difficult to find parking Parking options: Paid parking lot Parking: There's a paid parking lot 50 metres from the eatery. Kid-friendliness: Family-friendly place. Wheelchair accessibility: There's a short flight of steps, so quite difficult.
