One of Bangalore’s legendary breakfast spots! Veena Stores has been serving fresh, authentic South Indian tiffin for decades, and it absolutely lives up to its reputation. The idlis here are some of the softest you’ll ever eat—light, pillowy, and served steaming hot. The vadas are wonderfully crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Pair them with their signature coconut chutney, which is so fresh and delicious that you’ll keep asking for extra. The menu is simple—idli, vada, khara bath, kesari bath, and a few other classic items—but every single dish is consistently tasty and satisfying. You can tell they focus on quality over variety. Even though the place is always buzzing with people, especially early mornings and weekends, the service is very quick and efficient. You get your food within minutes, packed neatly if you prefer takeaway. It’s a no-frills setup—standing tables, minimal décor—but that’s part of the charm. The prices are extremely pocket-friendly for the quality you get. If you love traditional Karnataka-style breakfast, Veena Stores is a must-visit. If you're in Malleshwaram, make sure to stop by Veena Stores. I can't recommend their idli, kesari bath, and vada enough – they are truly awesome. The idlis are soft, the kesari bath perfectly sweet, and the vadas are crisp perfection. A fantastic spot that you absolutely must try Meal type: Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

It was a nice experience but not best as I have eaten better south Indian breakfast in other places. The atmosphere was cozy. I loved the road and the total area. Service is user friendly and less chaos. Crowd management is great. Recommended to visit atleast for experience. But yes, food was not so good for me. It was okay. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
