I was given a room in the ground floor. It was very dark and humid, the only window was on a small street so I thought it would be quiet. But during the night it was so noisy I couldn’t even sleep. You hear everything like if it was in the room. Also, upstairs people were talking loud all night. The blanket smells very bad and there was a big cockroah in the bathroom. The staff is there but it’s like it’s not there. When I arrived nobody explained anything to me and then I never saw them again until my check-out. My experience was very bad. Maybe rooms upstairs are better, but the location remains noisy. Good points: cheap, rooftop.

We LOVED our stay at Varah Square Guest House! We booked a room with AC and a ventilator. The room was really clean and in great condition, huge and comfortable bed. We really appreciated warm water in the bathroom and the shower-head (many places in India don’t use them). Apart from the nice and spacious room you can enjoy the rooftop, which is very nice. Home cooked meals are yummy and mostly affordable. Everybody in the guest house was really warm and welcoming, we felt really cosy and safe. When we got sick in Pushkar, they really took care of us and provided us pills to get better. Lastly, the LOCATION is great! You can walk to all the sights in Pushkar easily which we really enjoyed. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a lovely budget stay with lovely people Service: 5
