So far the best chat shop in udupi. One can try different varieties of chats & Pav Bhaji. Their Masala Puri is my favourite. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: ₹1–200

During my recent visit to Vyshali Pavbaji Chat Center located in Thenkpete, Maruthi Veethika, Udupi, Karnataka, I had the opportunity to sample a variety of their offerings. One of the items I tried was their Dahi puri, priced at 35 rupees. I found the taste to be decent; however, I noticed that they give only 5 pieces, which is less compared to other shops that typically provide a minimum of 6 pieces. Following that, I also indulged in their samosa pav, which was priced at 20 rupees and had an average taste. To quench my thirst, I opted for a glass of locally made cold badam milk, which cost 15 rupees. The flavor was satisfactory and provided a refreshing break. Moving on to their renowned pav baji, which I found to be quite delicious. A full plate of pav baji was priced at 50 rupees and was accompanied by 2 pavs. What intrigued me was that they offer a unique option of half pav baji with just 1 pav, priced at 30 rupees, a novelty that I hadn't encountered elsewhere. For more than three decades now, an elderly individual has been expertly preparing pav bhaji with unrivaled skill and dedication. A remarkable feature of their craft is the meticulous way they slice the pav into delicate, bite-sized pieces before serving it alongside the flavorful bhaji. Additionally, the establishment provides free streetside parking for two-wheelers, although securing parking space for cars could be challenging. Overall, my experience at Vyshali Pavbaji Chat Center was a delightful culinary journey where I explored a range of flavors and dishes that left me with a content palate and a memorable visit to this bustling food hub in Udupi, Karnataka.
