Stopped at VM Hotel on the way from Kochi to Thrissur. It's a small, no-frills roadside spot—nothing fancy, but does the job if you're hungry and passing through. Tried the porotta and egg curry; it was hot, mildly spiced, and filling. The place was clean enough, and service was quick.
