Write from the days they opened up I have been going here. Not a very fancy place to go but good food and snacks. We have had main course here and at one point of time I used to only eat manchurian and rice here. Even the other items then main course are very good here. Complete value for money in case you are on Kitchen strike :)
V2C Bengali was a one of my regularly visited restaurants in Chandigarh. It is a double storey building which has sweets on the ground floor and restaurant on the first. The restaurant serves North Indian, South Indian and Chinese. The food is very good in taste and quality. I loved the desserts there.
The sweet shop also was very nicely presented with good quality sweets. Never had quality complains from this place. My favorite here are Kulfi faluda and ras malai. Just love them.
The cakes made here are also good. We used to order a lot many cakes from here.
Bengali sweets are famous everywhere and I am happy to say that they have standardized and maintained the quality of the sweets be it any. I am big fan of their sweets and snacks even cakes. I have had rasmalai, gulabjamun, kaju barfi, cham cham, chayna(paneer)toasted and they were all equally good. I also got a chance to have lunch there and ordered a dulex thali and I will shout loud and say that it was dam heavy and dam awesome. Just loved it.
