Fondly known as Apu anna, he serves one of the most delicious cups of evening tea you’ll find anywhere in the region—perfectly brewed, comforting, and exactly what you need after a day of exploring ruins and landscapes. To make it even better, the tea can be enjoyed with local cookies, available at a small extra cost, and they pair beautifully with the tea. What truly sets Apu anna apart, though, is that he is also a government-certified tourist guide. His knowledge of Hampi is deep, genuine, and delivered with sincerity and passion. He doesn’t just show you the standard spots—he takes you to lesser-known locations and viewpoints that many other guides don’t even mention, adding incredible value to the experience. Perfect place for a rest. Nice seating in the shadow if some big trees. Don't miss it on your way to the river. Delicious chai close to the big Nandi. Cold drinks an snacks also available. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
