A few days back I had lunch at Utsav Mount Joy Road. We were two people. We ordered Sweet Corn Soup, Masala Papad, Chilli Gobi, Malai Kofta, Amruthsari Spicy Stuffed Kulcha The soup was excellent, Papad and the onion, Cucumber and Powder/masala used on papad was finger licking good and bit of lime add the pleasure on your taste buds. Gobi Chilli , Cauliflower was soft and fresh. The sauce used for this was good as well. I felt there was no Malai in the curry nor the Amruthsari Spicy Stuffed Kulcha was spicy. Cost wise it's less compared to other places. I had ordered for veg kolhapuri but instead I got beans only curry which was not at all cooked and was just raw beans only.. And the tandoori roti was too much burnt that I could only taste the burnt roti. Jeera rice was too oily and was just okay food with no salt. The restaurant didn't put any salad with the roti and other dishes even after the onions and cucumber prices are dropped... Might be cost cutting like Infosys.
