Each and every food item ordered from here was bad in taste and quality. Not sure how can they not get simple khichadi right and call themselves Upwasache Maherghar. Please change the name, it is misleading.
As the owner of Upwasache Maherghar, I read your review with a heavy heart. Our name carries deep emotional meaning—it’s meant to be a place that feels like home during fasting, where every bite brings comfort and purity. Knowing that we couldn’t deliver that experience to you truly saddens me. Khichadi is a humble dish, but it should never lack soul. I take full responsibility and assure you that we’re already working to improve our recipes and quality. Your feedback is not just noted—it’s felt. While we welcome constructive criticism, I kindly wish to share that our name reflects our values and heritage. It holds deep significance for us and our loyal patrons, and we believe no one has the right to question or suggest changing it. Thank you for your honesty. We hope to earn back your trust and serve you with the warmth and sincerity our name stands for.
