So much for coming together for a meal!
I shudder to think what would happen if it was a full house, would one have to concede to starving? And upon being rather politely intimated of the same by us, the owner had a pretty arrogant demeanour while apologising for the delay, in fact from the start of the conversation one of his waiters and him were behaving as if it was our mistake that they were unable to serve the food we were paying for on time. Towards the end, he offered to put the tab on the house, rather condescendingly, but I'm afraid the damage was done. We did not take it on the house, an d we're never coming back. And I really hope the restaurant gets its act together. Will not recommend the drawing room at all. Kochi is small, there aren't many places yet, I get it, but there's no room for shabby service.
The struggle is real when it comes to deciding where to eat at fort Kochi. But if your looking out for a silent corner amidst the so busy fort Kochi then drawing room works just perfect
The time you step in the cafe there's a different satisfaction you get. The beautifully grown and maintained tress and plants & the architecture just go hand in hand.
The coffee at this cafe is a must try. The best part of this cafe is the staff. They are very co-operative and understanding
