Sri Udupi Hotel & Lodge near Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple offers a very disappointing dining experience. The food quality is substandard and completely lacks the authentic taste of Kerala cuisine — mainly because all the chefs are from North India. The dishes are bland, overpriced, and fail to justify the high rates charged. Overall, not worth the money, especially when there are many better and more authentic local options available nearby.

Dint like the food or the service.. and most importantly, don't go by the name. Except for the name Udupi, there is nothing here that resonates with our land.. neither Karnataka food nor the kannada language here. It's a pure tamil restaurant and name is just for attention or attraction...

Do not select this hotel for your stay. It is one of the worst place to stay. The service provided them are. Zero. There is no room service. No bath towel, soap, even for drinking water we have to go down ( no lift)
and get it. The people are not friendly, if you ask anything they will shout back.
More over there is no reciption desk, one is in the restaurant cashier desk, there the owner of the property. I booked through Booking. Com, they should leave this hotel from there list.
